Crossing Tape Policies

THESE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME

Thank you for listening to Crossing Tape and helping me elevate the stories, lives, and experiences of others. My aim with this podcast is to elevate victims and survivors and de-center the perpetrators, and I hope I have done that well.

  1. Crossing Tape is in no way affiliated with my work as a mental health therapist. Crossing Tape is not to be used as mental health support, treatment or information in any way.

  2. Crossing Tape utilizes publicly available information for sources unless otherwise stated. Additionally, Crossing Tape will never share personal accounts, stories, actedotes etc. without written permission.

  3. Crossing Tape seeks to refrain from speculative talk, however there may be times where Mallorie (the host) makes an observation about misaligned information, conflicting stories, or gaps in sources. She will always provide a disclaimer that this information is either unconfirmed or speculative. It will never be presented as fact.

  4. Crossing Tape shares stories that are publicly available, therefore Crossing Tape does not remove episodes as the information and story is widely available outside of the podcast. However, if close immediate family (parents, siblings, partners) request the episode be taken down, this will be considered.

  5. Crossing Tape does not make any money on the show. Mallorie profits in no way by researching, recording, editing and producing these episodes. This may change in the future, in which listeners will be notified.

  6. We appreciate hearing from our listeners and are committed to fixing content errors if needed, and gladly welcome emails correcting inaccurate information. However emails/feedback that are derogatory, hateful, demanding, insensitive, assaultive and/or manipulative will not be tolerated nor responded to.

  7. Crossing Tape does not endorse any doxxing or doxxing related behavior towards Mallorie or anyone else connected to the podcast.

Crossing Tape understands that true crime is not for everyone, and not everyone will be happy with the content we research and publish. That is okay and we wish you well.
